Location: Boerne, TX
Project Size: 16,400 ft2
Jesse Garza partnered with Boerne ISD to renovate the 8,600-square-foot libraries at Kendall Elementary and Cibolo Creek Elementary, transforming them into modern, flexible, and inspiring learning hubs that reflect the district’s commitment to creativity and academic excellence. Each library features a carefully curated color palette, decorative architectural elements, and specialized lighting that create a welcoming, visually balanced environment. Flexible furniture, mobile stacks, and multiple seating options allow students and staff to easily reconfigure the space for various learning styles and group activities, fostering ownership and engagement. Both libraries also include an Art Room/Maker Space—industrial, adaptable studios designed to support hands-on learning and creative exploration. These renovated libraries represent a key step in enhancing the district’s educational facilities and will continue to serve and inspire Boerne ISD students for years to come.
